This is just an okay case. Its a bit larger than I would like which may contribute to the fact that it kind of sticks in my pocket which I also dont like very much.Report as inappropriate

First off, its not that soft. Its slightly softer than a hard plastic case, but not by much. Just shiny, slick, smooth rubber the length of the case with no texture or breaks in the surfaces. Right out of the package its very slippery. There isnt enough texturing on the side to keep it from sliding around and none on the back. Only the tiny embossed OTTERBOX near the RH button has any noticeable grip surface. The slipperiness has very slightly improved with age. Also, like others have stated, the corners have lanyard holes and this leaves those places vulnerable to damage and/or dirt inclusion in the event of a drop. I guess the engineers decided everyone using this case would need a lanyard due to its lack of grip. They were right.On the plus side, its a very slim cover and the MagSafe magnets and buttons work very well. For those reasons I didnt make this a one star review.It certainly wasnt because this cover is even remotely soft touch. It is not.Im a longtime fan and purchaser of Otterbox products but this one is overpriced and poorly designed. There are better, grippier products available out there. I would not recommend, nor would I purchase again, this particular Otterbox model again. Disappointed.Report as inappropriate

I would recommend using a pop socket with this for better grip. The case is not bulky and very sleek. It protects the sides and back of your phone and really absorbs shock when dropped. My parter dropped her phone from about 4 feet up onto the concrete and her phone was completely perfect and unharmed!
