I was not expecting much from a case with a clear plastic backing but I have been pleasantly surprised time and time again at how well it holds up! It has saved my iPhone from total destruction by toddler more times than I can count, and most importantly it has held up very well to my inability to not drop my phone at least ten times a day. It is durable (as expected from the Defender line) but boasts a more thin design, which in turn makes it feel lighter in my hand; Less like I am carrying a brick around. The selection of colors and patterns is nice, the materials are durable, and the Mag-Safe compatibility is a lifesaver in a pinch! My only gripe: Can we PLEASE get these glitter cases made with darker colored rubber options? the light tones are nice but they do not hold up to everyday use at all. For a $70 case I was a little disappointed that it’s not even a week into using it and it already has some discoloration around the edges that I cannot get out for the life of me!Report as inappropriateOtter Box Case 5 out of 5 rating

Check Mark GraphicYes, I’d recommend this product.By far the best Cell case by Otter Box Ive owned so far! The Defender series has always been a great case but its sheer bulk was always an issue, like carrying a d$&@ microwave on your hip or in your pocket . Ive had Commuter cases as well but the never really cut it BUT the Defender Series XT is an absolute happy median between the Defender & Commuter series case. Not to mention the fact that the clip holster is optional now because lets be honest the old Defender cases with a holster lowered your gas mileage they were sooooo YUGE . Does it come with a belt clip?

However, we still include a coupon code in every box to redeem for the Defender Holster accessory. The OtterBox Defender Series XT Pro does not include a belt clip. It does have a Lanyard attachment built into case. -John

No, the Defender Pro XT does not feature a built-in screen protector. It does, however, work seamlessly with any of our available screen protection products.
