We bought these for my husband for Father’s Day. He works construction and is able to listen tousic during the day. The ones that go in his ears hurt after a while. He loves these and says the sound quality is amazing! Very happy with every step from the ordering to delivery to spot on product. JBL is all we ever buy and don’t have any reason to stop now.Report as inappropriate

Bought them while back for 150 dollars!they are more like 50 dollar headphones !their app is very poor and basic!while running in winter with hoodie soon as hoodie touches the headphones it beeps and there is no way stopping it even if you choose none from gestures on app or summer if you swear while walking or outside doing yard work !it should have a lock button on app !and yet they didnt somehow think of that!at this price point most other headphones when you take them off and they go to sleep !on this is i believe minimum setting is 30 min!so when you take them off you need to store them in case right away other wise not sure how you really turn them off!overal ok sound quality very poorly designed app !Report as inappropriate

Yes, I’d recommend this product. These are not what they advertise. If you are expecting the same level of bass with in ear headphone look else where. They do have a volume that is comparable to in ear, so you get the sound quality without the depth. You cant feel the music. Retuned mine for open ear swim bone conduction headphonesReport as inappropriate5 out of 5 rating

So I bought these to replace some JBL earbuds that were discontinued. I fully went into these knowing that they were not going to function like my beats earbuds. I fully understand that apple has proprietary tech that allows using their hardware easier. Still I was curious about the out of ear design. After 2 months: The sound is great, the interaction is sketchy. So 1st the controls on the buds is not intuitive. I definitely would prefer a tactile button. 2nd, I like to roll around using only 1 bud. If I select the left bud, I have no option on volume reduction or even turning it off. I have to pull the bud out to get away from it (I find this the most frustrating). And the runner up for frustrating is the pairing. Its not intuitive on apple devices. Perhaps these will coexist better on androids. I paired them with my ipad for temporary use. Then later in the day went into the yard to do some work. Every time I got near the house they connected to my ipad and told me so. So it was a few hours of listening to this. Eventually coming in to unpair them. Now trying to repair is also cumbersome. Overall, coming from the apple ecosystem. I think these were a mistake for me. I much prefer the way apple product seamlessly pair and move from device to device.Report as inappropriate

Thank you for your feedback. We understand our Soundgear Sense didn’t meet your expectations. We’ll make sure to forward your feedback to the right department. You can customize and enable advance controls using the JBL Headphones app. Our Soundgear Sense supports multi-point connection that allows you to connect it with two devices at a time. It’s possible that your iPad is being detected as the source. We recommend disconnecting your device when not in use. If you need more assistance, please contact us.

Thank you for your inquiry. If you are pairing a new source device, enabling Bluetooth on the device is necessary so that it can discover the product. Find the unit on the Bluetooth list and select it. Test it by playing music. If this does not solve the problem, you will need to do a reset and manually re-pair again. To reset JBL Soundgear Sense. Tap twice on either the left or right earbud, tap again for the third time, then hold for 5 seconds. For further assistance, please contact customer support.

Something about the battery.. 3 out of 5 rating

Sound quality is pretty good. However I am having an issue with the battery life between the two ear pieces. The left ear piece drains down double the time the right ear piece does.. I just use them to listen to music and they are fully charged when in use. I end up losing the left one 2 hrs in..Report as inappropriate

Thanks for your feedback. Please know that it’s possible that the battery on the left earbud of your JBL Soundgear Sense is losing its capacity. Volume and usage can affect the battery’s life. Even if listening at maximum volume to heavy bass music, the battery should last longer than 60% of the published playtime. For further assistance, please contact our customer support.
