I tested it in class, with external audio, a pro lapel mic and mixer.It worked well, but once or twice in an hour, as I turned towards the blackboard, it lost me and made a 180 turn towards the audience. So it needs supervision.That should be remedied in software updates.Report as inappropriate

I’m a charging stand snob and this is by far one of the coolest ones I’ve used. The tracking feature syncs up easily once you do the initial pairing and it tracks you throughout your room, both left and right AND up and down. This is perfect for any content creators that want more professional looking videos and for anyone working from home and want to be perfectly framed during meetings. The product is definitely cool and fun to use. However, there is one MAJOR flaw to this product and it is a big one. That problem is the product picks up the sound of the motor when it is tracking. For me that is a big deal, as it will render my audio for the video as useless. The whole point of this is to make recording yourself in a simpler way by allowing yourself to record without any assistance and reducing the need to set up additional hardware. In order to make this product useful, you must understand that you will need an external audio recorder so that there isnt a constant sound of the motor running. If your not concerned with the audio then this product is a homerun but if you want to rely on the iPhone microphone with the video then do not buy.Report as inappropriate
