Introduction

The MagSafe Charger makes wireless charging a snap. The perfectly aligned magnets attach to compatible iPhone models. The MagSafe Charger provides faster wireless charging up to 25W when paired with a 30W power adapter.

The MagSafe Charger is certified for Qi2.2 and Qi charging, so it can be used to wirelessly charge your iPhone 8 or later, as well as AirPods models with a wireless charging case.

The magnetic alignment experience only applies to iPhone 12, iPhone 13, iPhone 14, iPhone 15, compatible iPhone 16 models, iPhone 17 models, and iPhone Air.

Recommended: For faster wireless charging up to 25Wup to 50% battery in around 30 minutes for compatible iPhone 16 models, iPhone 17 models and iPhone Air when paired with the 30W USB-C Power Adapter (sold separately).

Testing conducted by Apple in July 2025 using preproduction iPhone 17, iPhone Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max units and software, USB-C Charge Cable with Apple 40W Dynamic Power Adapter with 60W Max (Model A3351), and Apple MagSafe Chargers (1-meter Model A3502 and 2-meter Model A3503) with Apple 30W USB-C Power Adapter (Model A2164) as well as Apple 40W Dynamic Power Adapter with 60W Max (Model A3351). Fast-charge testing conducted with drained iPhone units. Times measured from the appearance of the Apple logo as the unit started up. Charge time varies with adapter, settings, usage, and environmental factors; actual results will vary.
