Hands-free help with everyday questions and. Everyone in the home can access their own Messages, Calendar, and Reminders, and make or receive phone calls.6 Start your day by asking, “Hey Siri, what s my update?” and get personalized news, weather, traffic, and calendar information.6 Check if a store or restaurant is open, or ask for local recommendations and when you leave the house, the destination automatically appears in Maps on your iPhone or in CarPlay. Yes, I’d recommend this product.Speaker will not set up. I had to make an appointment with the Apple store to figure out the problem. Absolutely amazing. My echo speakers have been acting up. I use them to control my smart home by voice, and many other things. I have a HUGE investment in echo speakers from multiple studio speakers to echo 2 and echo 3 speakers to echo dot (multiple gens) and echo auto in three cars. They have absolutely failed at all things mart home in the last couple years. Given that everything I have is HomeKit enabled or HomeKit accessible through my smart home hub, and I have been using Siri in my phone anyways to work around Alexa I decided to buy to of these for my Office and Bedroom. Im sold. I will be replacing all my speakers with HomePods now. If youre on the fence, and you have Apple TV, or HomeKit enabled TVs and iPhones, this is a huge recommendation. Siri never messes up and has direct integration with my calendar, todo lists and other iCloud services. I can use it as a conference speaker for my iMac when in zoom calls, Ior as a speaker for my Apple TV.
